Persons are eligible to register for a free Evergreen Indiana library card from the Knightstown Public Library by meeting the following requirements:
- Show a current picture ID and proof of residency
- Reside in the Knightstown incorporated limits
- Green card (good at any Evergreen Indiana Library)
- Reside within Henry County but outside of Knightstown incorporated limits
- Blue card (good only at The Knightstown Public Library)
- Hold a valid Indiana public library access card (PLAC)
- Green card
- Any patron of a library who is a part of the statewide reciprocal borrowing covenant
Non-resident Card
The cost for a nonresident card is based on the yearly operating expenditure per capita. The 2022 cost is $44.00
Public Library Access Card (PLAC )
Patrons with a valid library card from any Indiana public library are eligible to purchase a PLAC card. They must be in “good standing” with their home library. The PLAC may be purchased from any public library in Indiana at an annual rate established by the State Library. The 2022 cost is $65.00

If your Knightstown Evergreen card is lost or stolen you can get a replacement card for $2.00
